Recipe: Chocolate Fudge Cake (class 75)
Ingredients
Cake:
225g digestive biscuits
2 dessert spoons cocoa
125g margarine
2 tablespoons golden syrup
Icing:
25g margarine
2 dessert spoons cocoa
2 tablespoons icing sugar.
Method
Cake:
Line a 18 x 28cm tin with baking paper.
Crumble the biscuits in a blender or crush with a rolling pin
Stir in the cocoa
Melt the margarine and syrup then add the biscuits.
Press into the prepared tin.
Icing:
Melt margarine and syrup together
Stir in the cocoa and icing sugar.
Beat well
Pour over the cooled cake and refrigerate to set.
When set cut into squares.
